Hi, I’m Tieler!

I’m a communicator and curious observer exploring the questions that shape who we are and how we live life well.

Life rarely comes with a step-by-step plan. Yet there’s beauty in the unfolding and the in-between, even for those of us who crave clarity and certainty. I’ve learned that, almost always, the real work happens within: in what we are learning and who we’re becoming along the way.

I’m the author of How to Ditch the How-to: Embracing Grace in Place of Self Improvement, a book for change-seekers who are learning to trade striving for grace and discover who God has called them to be.

I’ve also dedicated two decades to helping purpose-driven organizations advance issues like education equity, youth development, and civil and human rights — connecting them with the people and resources they need to fulfill their missions.

Most of all, I’m growing in grace alongside you, grateful that God is always at work in the process.
